Music Club Brno

The theme of the project is a new music club with reharsal rooms and recording studio in the center of Brno, Obilní trh. The site is situated on the slope next to the castle Špilberk. The proposal is based on an openness to the public, trying to captivate, pull in and make a passerby the visitor. The whole complex is made of three solitary objects that escalates its scale from view and trying not to create a barrier, but rather give the impression of accessibility. The site of this complex, along with trees, creates a park enviroment which enables the views to the castle Špilberk. The buildings are partially buried in the hillside terrain and directly connected to the extensive green roof, which creates a friendly terrace where you can watch the street or the artists inside the building. Functional content is divided into three objects. The largest one is a music club, including foyer, 2 music halls, terrace allowing views to the Obilní trh, backstages for musicians and garages. The second, single-storey building with a courtyard includes ateliers, reharsal rooms and a sociable relax corridors. The last, two-storey building includes a recording studio, which is situated right inside the courtyard.
Aristotle's ethics from the position of Anglo-Saxon thought

The thesis deals with the ethical philosophy of ancient thinker Aristotle and with the development of this philosophy in later periods. The thesis is divided into four chapters, in which the author deals first with Aristotle's ethics, next describes how this ethics changed in Epicureanism, Stoicism and Christianity - in the works of Augustin Aurelius and Thomas Aquinas. In the third part the thesis focuses on decline of Aristotelian ethics and rise od I. Kant's ethics. Finally in the last chapter, the thesis deals with the revival of Aristotelian ethics in the works of A. MacIntyre. The thesis is written from the point of view of the Anglo-Saxon thought. That is reflected in its structure and the choose of literature.
World of asymmetrical responsibility

Thesis work WORLD OF ASYMMETRICAL RESPONSIBILITY develops the original racional concept concentrated on human existence, which was broken by the FACE OF THE OTHER MAN by Levinas. Using analogy we take human FACE AS THE CENTER OF MAN, his body center. The FACE moves forward and has a never ending range. Its potency and vital power calls for further research. Rule of law of asymmetrical responsibility standing for THE OTHER MAN and everyone with a character of unique choice are covered in this thesis work. The contribution into philosophy of education will be seen in restoration of original conception of theoria. Novum to asymmetrical responsibility and its origin are touching the conscious practice deriving from universal FACE. Namelees universal FACES with their own seals form the WORLD OF ASYMMETRICAL RESPONSIBILITY. Life in it in a way of eternity receives and gives immediately the CENTER of neverending row of human looks of FACES with irreplaceable destination in saving human life. Care of the soul by Jan Patočka and its necessity in the constitution of humanity

The work deals with the idea of caring of the soul, as presented by Jan Patočka and its necessity for the constitution of humanity, which seeks to do good on the personal, societal, and global, ecological level. The first part deals with the care of the soul by Socrates and in the Platonian polis, there are highlighted some concepts related to education of its guardians. Then there are described three existential movements, which Jan Patočka educes from the care of the soul and its three aspects. In another part is firstly implied relation between the care of the soul and philosophy, and then the original theme and herewith the aim of these two activities. The last part is an attempt to show how it can happen, that we are talking about ?succour from philosophy?, then how to use the care of the soul for we could see the world as our home and what the consequences will be there, when we don't care of the soul and instead we paying attention only to the exact knowledge of modern science.
